求助：materials letters 投稿格式（急）

最近投一篇到materials letters，但是没过几天就退回来了，主要是格式不对，现在编辑要求贴在下面，请各位虫友，大虾们帮忙解答下： Dear xx, before we can proceed with your submission we ask you to address the following: 1) Materials Letters is strictly a Letters journal, so the submitted manuscript in double line spacing should not exceed 8 pages (including title, abstract, references, figures, tables and figure captions). 2) A minimum of 2 keywords should be provided from the list of keywords recommended by Materials Letters. This list is found at the end of the Guide for Authors for this Journal. 3) Please prepare reference list strictly according to the guide for authors. For references more than six authors give the first six names followed by et al. Once you have made the changes/corrections as required and resubmitted your manuscript, we will again check your manuscript for adherence to technical criteria. Passing this is not a guarantee that your submission will subsequently proceed to the peer review process, which is a decision to be made at the sole discretion of the journal editor. * Please note that submissions not returned to us within two months will be removed without further warning! Thank you for submitting your work to the journal, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Yours sincerely, Margriet ten Napel Journal Manager Materials Letters 以上提到的 1) Materials Letters is strictly a Letters journal, so the submitted manuscript in double line spacing should not exceed 8 pages (including title, abstract, references, figures, tables and figure captions). 是什么意思呢？我只知道投稿的时候我没有把图放在manuscript中，在manuscript中，只有标题，作者，作者地址联系方式，后面就是摘要，引言，正文，结论，致谢，参考文献，再是figure captions（两倍行距），后来三个图以tiff格式上传上去的，生成的pdf已经超过八页了（因为一个图就是一页啊），但是我的字数不是很多啊，要怎么样才能控制在八页以内，请大侠帮忙指点一下啊，实在没有遇到过这样的情况啊。。。~~~~(>_<  ~~~~ 难道不要上传图片，只要把图放在正文中就可以了？哪位虫友借个模板看看呢？~~~~(>_<~~~~ 还有3) Please prepare reference list strictly according to the guide for authors. J Sci Commun 2000;163:51-9. 可是为什么我这样写，却不对呢？是不是只是，超过六个作者我没有写et al. 真的很棘手啊，请大师们多多请教啊。先谢谢了O(∩_∩)O~ |
