Two Post-doctoral positions available to study oral bacterium Fusobacterium nucleatum.

Two NIH-funded Post-doctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Chenggang Wu in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas.  The Wu lab (https://med.uth.edu/mmg/labs/wu-lab/) has a strong interest in the mechanism underlying Fusobacterium-mediated coaggregation with oral microbiota within dental plaque and the interplay between nutrition and fusobacterial pathogenesis in oral disease and colon cancer.

Qualification:

Interested applicants should have earned (or be close to earning) a Ph.D and have a strong background in molecular biology and/or microbiology.

To apply:

Please send a CV, statement of prior research experience, and contact information for at least 1 reference as a single PDF file to Chenggang.wu@uth.tmc.edu.  

Salary is commensurate with experience and will follow university guidelines. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.
