被拒了，准备改投，请教一下~~ 已有4人参与

我的一些想法： 首先很感谢各位真诚的帮助，真的很感谢。 关于改投，我还是决定不等状态变化直接投CM。不过在cover letter里面我还是会把JACS的经历如实告诉编辑，我是这样写的： In addition, this MS has been submitted to JACS several days ago (MS ID: ja-2009-06652z, Editor: Thomas E. Mallouk). However, it was directly rejected by Prof. Mallouk and not able to be considered for the further review. Thus, in this cover letter, we have no more information such as the considerations and the changes to describe, but we consider that the matter itself should be truly reported to you. 因为两家期刊毕竟都是一家，共用一个投稿系统，我想别人也是会知道的。另外，如果这个瞒着不说我心里实在不安心，总觉得既然别人问到了就应该老老实实的告知。而至于修改方面，我也实在无能为力，JACS的编辑没有提出任何的意见，估计文章都没怎么看，一个工作日就拒了（俺文章不加图可有6500words  ）。所以，我也没办法再在此文章上作出什么修改...因此还是老实向CM的编辑交代好了，至于别人怎么处理是别人的事情，我自己做到问心无愧。 再次感谢各位的真诚帮助~ ====================================== 上周投了JACS，今天收到拒稿信，被副主编给拒了 Dear XXX: We would like to thank you very much for submitting your work to JACS. We are committed to rapid and timely publication of forefront research in the field of chemistry, and we are continually striving to accelerate the process of manuscript review and publication. To make this a reality, we have put in place a rapid pre-screening process, according to which we presently send only a fraction of submitted papers for peer review. This is a very stringent criterion, but it is necessary to achieve both high quality and rapid turnaround. We regret that in this instance, we will not be able to consider your manuscript for further review, but we do wish to thank you for submitting your work to us, and we hope to receive manuscripts from you again in the future. Sincerely, XXX 以上我觉得全部是套话，也没提出什么意见和建议。个人感觉文章可能还是在理论上有缺陷（其实也有一些理论，也有公式的推导和验证，不过达不到JACS的要求），因此还是投一个偏向材料的期刊。我现在准备改投CM，想问下，我有没有必要在cover letter里面把我投JACS的经历附上？我投JACS根本就没到审稿那一步，所以也不存在附上审稿意见或者标注明做了哪些修改这一说。 另外，投稿系统上面显示我投JACS的状态是“1 Expired Revisions and Manuscripts No Longer Under Consideration”，而且点进去还能查到投JACS的信息（包括题目，通讯作者，编辑等等），请问我现在能够立马改投CM不？如果要等上一次JACS的投稿走完，还要等多久呀？ 谢谢各位的帮助！ [ Last edited by cxksama on 2009-8-12 at 11:20 ] |
