香港城大RA招聘，计算机视觉方向

Research Assistant in Computer Vision & Machine Learning We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant to join Dr. Wang’s research group at the Department of Computer Science, City university of Hong Kong. Shiqi Wang is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong. He holds a Ph.D. (2014) from the Peking University under the supervision of Prof. Wen Gao. Before his current appointment, from Mar. 2014 to Mar. 2016, he was a Postdoc Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada. From Apr. 2016 to Apr. 2017, He was with the Rapid-Rich Object Search Laboratory, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as a Research Fellow. His primary research interests include image and video coding, processing, and analytics, particularly image/video quality assessment; compression; enhancement; analytics; forensics, and security. Responsibilities • Developing and implementing novel computer vision and learning algorithms, especially in the fields of image/video quality assessment. • Writing and editing materials for publication and presentation. • Meeting with the supervisor on regular basis to maintain ongoing communication regarding the quality of the assistant’s performance. Required Qualifications • You should at least possess one year of experience in research related to Computer Vision or closely related topics. • You should have a good foundation in programming and mathematics. • Students with a strong publication record at principal computer vision or machine learning journals/conferences are expected.
