Postdoctoral Research Position in Theory and Simulation of Polymers in Singapore

We invite applications for a 2-year postdoc position in theory and simulation of polymers at yale-nus college, singapore. The successful candidate will work to develop a hybrid particle-field simulation approach for polymer solutions. Depending on the candidate's preference, the project may focus on polyelectrolytes or biological polymers. The starting date is flexible.

Requirements: We are looking for a motivated and independent candidate with a ph.d. degree in physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related subject, and have research experience in theoretical or computational statistical mechanics, chemistry, polymer physics, liquid physics, or soft condensed matter physics. Good mathematical skills and experiences with python are essential. Experiences with statistical field theory and all-atom simulations are appreciated but not compulsory. The candidate should also have good knowledge of spoken and written english.
