| The Yan Research Group in the Department of Applied Physical Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill is looking for a new graduate students starting in 2021 fall or 2022 spring. The candidate must satisfy the requirements here https://aps.unc.edu/application-instructions/. The potential research areas are: 1. Advanced optical trapping and manipulation techniques. 2. Light-driven self-assembly of nanoparticles. 3. Synthesis of functional nanomaterials for nanomedicine, biosensing and bioimaging applications. 4. Nano-bio interactions at the single-particle level.
