能源领域的科技创新是实现可持续发展的关键 Energy Innovation is Essential to Implementing Sustainable Future Technical innovation in energy field is very important to sustainable future. In the world reserves of all non-renewable energy is limited. According to statistics, the reserves of petroleum will be exploited completely within 40 years, natural gas within 70 years. And Coal will be within only two centuries. With the development of globe economy, the demand of energy will increased. Therefore, increasing energy efficiency and investment of renewable energy are the good ways of solving the energy problem. All of ways are dependent on technical innovation to some extent. Nowadays, Energy innovation covers increasing the use of primary energy and final energy, improving energy equipment, R&D the clean technology of fossil energy, and making good use of nuclear energy, hydrogen energy, solar energy, wind energy and biomass energy etc. For example, automobile is the main consumption of oil and gas, enhancing the efficiency of its dynamic system, utilization of high-level mixed dynamic system can make automobile save oil 30%-50%. The development of biodiesel technology can effectively solve entirely dependence on petroleum. In recent years, investment of biodiesel increase in China step by step, especially three large state-owned petroleum enterprises. It shows that China makes progresses in the innovation of biodiesel. In the basis of reserves of uranium, nuclear energy is supplied only 100 years. Utilization of regeneration of spent nuclear fuel and FBR(fast breeding reactor)can make nuclear renewable, and this will supply with future electric power and other energy. Increasing the efficiency of photoelectric tube and decreasing its cost would use more direct solar energy. Technical innovation needs to a large amount of manpower, materials and financial resources. The governments should increase its investment strength on energy innovation. At the same time, further strengthening international cooperation in scientific and technological fields, and optimizing global energy structure are also demanded. But we can see that energy innovation needs long time. Young professionals, let’s try our best to take full advantage of professional and innovative skill for sustainable future. Energy innovation: a key to sustainable future Technical innovation in energy field is critical to the sustainable future. The reserves of all non-renewable energy is limited. The reserves of petroleum will be exploited completely within 40 years, natural gas within 70 years, and coal within only two centuries. With the development of global economy, the demand of energy will increase. Therefore, increasing energy efficiency and investment of renewable energy are important to solve the energy problem, both depending upon the technical innovation to some extent. Nowadays, energy innovation covers extensive areas, including but not limited to increasing the use of primary energy and final energy, improving energy equipment, R&D of the clean technology of fossil energy, and employing nuclear energy, hydrogen energy, solar energy, wind energy and biomass energy and etc. Automobiles are a major consumption of oil and gas. By improving the efficiency of its dynamic system and using the high-level mixed dynamic system, an automobile can save 30%-50% of oil consumption. The development of biodiesel technology can effectively solve the dependence on petroleum. In recent years, investment of biodiesel increases in China progressly, especially for the three large state-owned petroleum enterprises. It shows that China makes progresses in the innovation of biodiesel. Based on the reserves of uranium, nuclear energy is available for only 100 years. Utilization of regeneration of the used nuclear fuel and FBR(fast breeding reactor) can make the nuclear energy renewable, which could a supply for the future electric power and other energy. Improving the efficiency of photoelectric tube and reduce its cost would help more direct use of the solar energy. Technical innovation requires a large amount of manpower, materials and financial resources. Governments therefore should increase their investment on energy innovation. Meanwhile, further strengthening international cooperation in scientific and technological fields, and optimizing global energy structure are also necessary. However, it is clear that the energy innovation will significant amount of time. Young professionals, let’s try our best to take full advantage of professional and innovative skill for the sustainable future. |
