本人最近投了一个稿子，给据了，由于很快就要毕业了，所以比较着急。主编说要有好的性能，可目前我们的工作还没有较好的性能。该如何处理啊。 —————————————————————— Thank you for submitting your manuscript, which has been examined in this Editorial Office, for publication in XXXX. I note that you have submitted the manuscript as a Letter, a section devoted to important breakthroughs of direct relevance to the interests of ＸＸＸＸreaders. Your manuscript presents results essentially devoted to synthesis of novel ＸＸＸＸ structures. While the results are interesting, they are unlikely to attract the attention of readers without inclusion of results that highlight the use of these structures (that you outline in the cover letter--battery, photocatalysis etc.). I suggest that you explore the use of the novel graphite that you have synthesized and submit as an article at a later stage. Due to the large number of manuscripts that we are receiving, and the increased demands that are being placed on our reviewers, we are now screening all submitted papers before they are sent out for external review. Based on this screening process I have determined that there is no urgency for communicating this work as a Letter. We are therefore declining your paper without external review.
