Opening: One New Ph.D. Research Assistant available at the Univesity of Rhode Island

One fully-funded Ph.D. Research Assistant, starting from Fall 2021 or Spring 2022, is available at the Intelligent Control and Robotics (IcRobots) lab at the University of Rhode Island, this position will be involved in research on theory development of multi-agent distributed control and its applications to multi-robot coordination. If interested, send your CV and transcripts to cyuan@uri.edu

Requirements:

B.S. or M.S. in Automatic Control, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related areas.
Knowledge in MATLAB, embedded system design, C++, Linux, ROS, and/or strong mathematical/control is preferred.
Minimum TOEFL requirement is 80 by graduate school. GRE can be waived for excellent students.
