【招生计划】计划2021年秋季入学 香港城市大学赛马会动物医学及生命科学院（https://www.cityu.edu.hk/jcc/） 学制4年，博士研究生1名 香港城市大学入学申请请参考: https://www.cityu.edu.hk/pg/research-degree-programmes 【奖学金】 博士生奖学金为每月17500港币，第二年pass qualifying exam后会涨至18000港币，此外还有其他奖学金可以申请，如博士学费奖学金等。 【导师简介】 dr. kai liu joined city university of hong kong in march 2019 as an assistant professor in animal welfare, ethics and behavior. kai obtained his phd degree in agricultural and biosystems engineering (animal production systems engineering) from iowa state university, usa, and then joined the swine teaching and research center at the university of pennsylvania, school of veterinary medicine, usa, as a postdoctoral researcher. currently, he contributes to the bachelor of veterinary medicine by teaching courses in the areas of animal behavior and welfare and intensive livestock production systems. he also conducts research in the area of precision livestock farming, mostly in poultry and swine production systems. 个人主页：https://scholars.cityu.edu.hk/en ... -95174f8c18dd).html 咨询/联系方式：邮箱：kailiu@cityu.edu.hk 【研究方向】 precision livestock farming (computer vision, wearable sensor): • engineering strategies/innovation for real-time monitoring, assessment, and management of farm animals regarding their behavior, health, production, reproduction, and welfare animal housing and environment management: • alternative housing system design for farm animals • behavior and production responses of farm animals to housing enrichment • novel lighting technologies for poultry production animal behavior and welfare: • alternative housing systems for improved behavior and welfare of farm animals • behavior, welfare, and emotion assessment for companion animals (e.g., dog, cat), horse, and other species of interests 【申请要求】 欢迎农业工程 (及其他理工科专业)、畜牧工程、动物科学等相关背景的本科和硕士毕业生报名申请（应届或往届不限），具有硕士学位者及有文章发表者优先。 [英文要求]：雅思最低6.5（总分）、或托福机考>=79，特别优秀的学生，英语六级490分以上也可接受（需学校审批决定）。 如有意应聘，请用英语投简历到导师电邮kailiu@cityu.edu.hk，并注明“phd application-name-university”，简历请包括本/硕成绩单、语言成绩、以及发表论文情况，合适者导师会逐一回复。 |
