Graduate Research Assistant Position at Michigan State University

Prof. Weiyi Lu at Michigan State University is seeking a passionate and highly self-motivated Ph.D. student to join our research group in Fall 2021. Our research aims to advance the science at the solid/liquid/gas interface in confined nano-environment through experimental approaches. Our research findings will guide the design of next generation safety devices. Interested students are encouraged to directly send a cover letter and CV with TOFEL and GRE scores to Prof. Lu (wylu@egr.msu.edu). Please use the subject line "Application for 2021 Ph.D. Position". Preference: 1. The candidate must have already earned or should soon earn an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field. 2. Research experience in material synthesis, materials characterization, and experimental mechanics. 3.
