In figure legends, authors should provide information on which test is applied to each data set.

Fig. 1. XXXX induces apoptotic death in primary neurons in a concentration-dependent manner. primary neurons were exposed to XXXX (0-0.4 μM) for 24 h. (A) Total cell lysates were subjected to Western blotting using indicated antibodies. The blots were probed for β-actin as a loading control. Similar results were observed in at least three independent experiments. (B) The blots for cleaved-caspase-3 and cleaved-PARP were semi-quantified. (C) Caspase-3/7 activities were detected using Caspase-3/7 Assay Kit. (D) The percentages of live (Q3), early apoptotic (Q4), late apoptotic (Q1) and necrotic cells (Q2) were determined by FACS using annexin-V-FITC/PI staining. The results from a representative experiment are shown. (E) Quantitative analysis of apoptotic DRG neurons by FACS assay. (F) Live cells were detected by counting viable cells using trypan blue exclusion. All quantified data were expressed as mean ± SEM (n =3-5). *p < 0.05, difference with control group.
