[交流] 1100欧元的版面费啊，我的天哪，（最新进展：老外有点生气）

昨天接受了一篇文章，IF1点多。
可版面费1100欧元，折合人民币1.1w，本人课题2009年可支付的版面费还剩余3000人民币，折合300欧元。
人家上面倒是说：
Authors working in developing countries may, at the discretion of the Publisher, be granted discounts or complete waivers.
可是我感觉放弃会不会不好，毕竟说了基金资助。大家给点意见吧，我想听听大伙的意见。

我就4.5金币全发了啊。

另，哪位兄弟能给个放弃版面或者减免的模板。感激不尽.

刚写了一份哭穷信，老外好像生气了。说最多25%，并明确指出，没有商量的余地了。889欧元啊。我的神！

My colleague, Mrs Pearce, has forwarded your email to me to respond.

We go to great lengths to make our publication processing fees clear to our authors. This is done in all our initial author correspondence and again when the paper is submitted via our website. It is not possible for authors to submit a paper via our website without ticking a box to signify that they understand and accept our publication processing fees. Therefore to receive your email at this late stage comes as both a surprise and a disappointment.

Regrettably I am unable to do as you ask and will have no alternative but to abandon your paper. I am only able to offer you a 25% discount which would mean that you would have to pay 75% of the regular price – EUR889.00.

I appreciate that this may not be acceptable to you, but would nevertheless appreciate if you can confirm what you wish to do with your paper. Please note that I am unable to negotiate on the price any further.
