可以申请退出的 我就退了
必须是前24个月申请 超过就只能等退休了 退回来的就是你交的那部分减去税
如果不是永久教职建议先退了 拿到教职随时加入

可以不交。但是第一个月是默认的，必须开通USS。然后才能提交申请取消。我猜可能是给你建一个账户先。据说取消很快。

The attached leaflet, ‘Seven good reasons to be a member of USS’ provides summary information.
Although membership of USS is voluntary, we hope that you will take this opportunity to build up benefits for yourself and your family.
We automatically enrol all eligible employees to USS membership on the first day of employment so USS contributions will therefore be deducted immediately from your salary.

If you do not wish to be a member of USS, please visit www.uss.co.uk to obtain opt-out information. Government regulations do not permit an employer to accept an opt-out form before an employee has been enrolled into a pension scheme.

The University operates a salary exchange scheme known as ‘PensionChoice’; this is a different way of paying for your membership of USS. The PensionChoice Guide and FAQs can be found in the PensionChoice section of StaffNet,
