Dr. Lei Yang, from the electrical and computer engineering department at the University of New Mexico, is looking for passionate and highly motivated ph.d. students with aligned research interests. in her intelligent system automation lab (ISA-LAB), they focus on the research areas in automated machine learning, embedded systems, and high-performance computing architectures. candidates are expected to have at least one of the following experiences: • published/submitted research articles as the first or co-primary author. • experience in computer architecture and embedded systems. • experience in machine learning/deep learning. • experience in hardware designs such as FPGA and VLSI design.
