Postdoctoral positions Open in Biosensors/Microfluidics and Optical Materials/Devices at University of Massachusetts at Amherst (UMass Amherst), USA. Position 1: Paper-based lateral flow assays for point-of-care (POC) testing The candidate is expected to have one or more areas of the following expertise and skills: paper-based lateral flow strips, microfluidics, lab-on-chips, point-of-care (POC) testing tools, biosensors, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) or fluorescence. Position 2: Microfabrication or optical materials/devices The candidate is expected to have one or more areas of the following expertise and skills: synthesis and characterization of optical materials, clean-room microfabrication, optoelectronic devices, biosensors, plasmon, surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) or fluorescence.
