Dear Applicant Thank you for your inquiry. Prof. Maier forwarded us your email. Please have a look at our home page. The application procedure for our PhD program and the selection criteria are described there in detail. www.imprs-cms.mpg.de A complete application must include the following items: * questionnaire of the online registration * diplomas and official transcripts/ record / mark sheets of study for Bachelor's and Master's degree (if available) * two letters of recommendation * a short CV * a certificate of proficiency in English, if available. In any case, you should be fluent both in written and spoken English. All documents must be uploaded on our server in PDF-FORMAT! ZIP or RAR files will not be accepted! In the section RESEARCH you will find the five core topics of our research program. In the chapter Members you will find a list of about 40 Principal Investigators who are affiliated with the IMPRS-CMS. The admission to the International Max Planck Research School for Condensed Matter Science is very competitive (next application deadline August 31, 2020). |
