Comments:This manuscript described a practical method to synthsize hydrazide-activated polymer microparticles and its application to immobilize carbohydrate. The synthesis is clearly described and should find plenty of applications in biomedical research; therefore, it should be accepted by Biomacromolecules. Further applications of this method and the resulting materials should be looked into carefully to solve important problems in biomedical research.
