The group of Dr. Li Zhu focuses on the development of new algorithms for computational material design and materials informatics. We are a team of young scientists and offer exciting Ph.D. research in an internationally leading environment, including the opportunity of collaborations with experimental partners. Candidates for the position are not only expected to have a good physical/chemical understanding of condensed matter systems but also excellent mathematical and programming skills. Financial Support The total value of the package (including health benefits and tuition) is over $45,000 per year. The starting stipend is ~$30k per year, including full health benefits. Additional summer salary through research or teaching assistantships is typically ranging from $2,500 to $5,000.
