[交流] the inside front cover 值得搞吗?

大家说说the inside front cover (NewJournal of Chemistry )值得搞吗? 要500 磅----可是6000多人民币。

Dear Professor XXXX,

Following the cover competition, we would very much like to offer you the inside front cover for the September 2009 issue for a price of 500 pounds (plus VAT if applicable) for your NJC article:

"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

Could you please let me know if you would be happy to participate? I highlight that the fee of 500 pounds to have the artwork feature on the Inside Front Cover is non-negotiable.

If featured on the cover, we will promote your article and increase its visibility in a number of ways:

o Your article will be made free to access to all for 6 weeks;
o Your cover will be featured in the contents pages of the journal online and in print;
o Your cover will be attached to all .pdfs of the article; anyone downloading your article will therefore see it;
o Your cover will be featured in the journal gallery.

You will also receive:

o A free print copy of the issue which features your cover;
o An A2 poster of your cover;
o A PDF of your article, which includes the cover;
o An electronic copy of the finished image to use in presentations or display on your desk top.

If you agree to pay the fee, please let us know immediately so that we can put your cover into production.

Also please return to us the attached permission request form. Fill in the blue fields (including a description of the artwork the name of the copyright holder in the top section), sign and date and return by fax or e-mail to the NJC office. Please note that many images taken from the web are copyrighted. You must certify that you have the reproduction rights to all the elements included in your cover design.
