Position: Sr. Scientist for Antibody engineering Location: Nanjing, China Report to: R&D Director Key Responsibilities: 1.Lead a dynamic group of scientists to work on antibody application for major pharmaceuticals, biotech and diagnostics customers. 2.Improve core competency in the field of antibody engineering platform including lead selection, humanization, optimization, and format development. 3.Integrate platforms of antibody lead generation, optimization and development for designed application. 4.Participate in strategy development on antibody related business and innovation for antibody discovery, therapeutics monitor, companion diagnostics and therapeutic cell isolation etc. 5.Communicate with the commercial teams to provide new product and new applications; investigate key technologies and platforms to boost the product performance. Qualifications: 1.Ph.D. or Master degree with five years’ experience in immunology, drug discovery, pharmaceutical science or a related field with expertise on single B cell technology, phage display, yeast display, antibody humanization, and affinity maturation. 2.A thorough understanding and hand-on experience in industry setting of antibody lead generation, optimization and characterization of antibody. 3.Playing a key role in scientific leadership, including study design, literature reference research, project direction, and scientific discussion. 4.Multitasking, self-motivating, innovative, and result and detail-oriented. 5.Proactively participating in collaborative projects. 6.Bilingual in English and Chinese, with strong communication skills.
