sponsored research awards的意思 已有1人参与

各位朋友，在一份报告看到一个搞笑的funding情况，其中提到sponsored research awards这个短语，捣鼓了很久，依然不知其意思。原报告是这么写的 according to national science foundation figures, uf has ranked first or second among u.s. universities in total agricultural sciences research expenditures since fiscal year 2004. in fiscal year 2012 those expenditures totaled $150.3 million, of which about $33.3 million were federally funded. in fiscal year 2013, uf/ifas researchers received a total of 875 sponsored research awards, totaling $107 million. 前一句说到expenditures，我的理解是科研经费支出，其中联邦资助了33.3百万美元，后一句说到的sponsored research awards不懂，希望朋友们多多指教 |
