limit of quantitation (quantitative detection limit; limit of determination) (LOD) The smallest detectable concentration an analytical instrument can determine at a given confidence level. IUPAC defines the quantitative detection limit as Cld = ks/m, where k is 10, s is the standard deviation of instrument readings taken on a "blank" (a solution with zero concentration of analyte), and m is the slope of a plot of instrument response vs. concentration, as calculated by linear regression. Limit of Quantification (LOQ) The LOQ, is the lowest concentration of a residue that can be identified and quantitatively measured in a food sample using an analytical method that has been validated with specified accuracy and precision. 这里面可以看出区别了:一个是最小检测浓度(不一定能量化),一个是最小量化值。 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detection_limit |
