NanoSelect听起来和Wiley旗下另外一个期刊ChemistrySelect (IF=1.7) 像是姊妹刊。 从其Scope来看，没有强调cutting-edge, important, significant等等字眼。 Scope of NanoSelect: Nano Select is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open access journal that presents nanoscience and nanotechnology research with a wide range of academic and industrial applications. Basic research is also covered. It publishes timely original scientific reports on fundamental and technical breakthroughs as well as focused review articles on emerging topics and in developing fields.
