An immediate opening postdoctoral position (will be employed at Washington State University and work at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory; Sample Text Only candidates who are currently inside US will be considered; Valid before June 30, 2020). Preferred Qualifications The successful candidate will be a synthetic chemist or a materials scientist responsible for designing sequence-defined peptoids for controlled self-assembly of soft matters with hierarchical structures for biomimetic catalysis (lignin degradation). He or she will frequently interact with prominent researchers from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and Washington State University. Techniques will be used for this project include: Solid-phase peptoid synthesizer, UPLC-MS, prep-HPLC, AFM and TEM. Candidate with Cryo-EM experience will be highly preferred.
