PhD Opening at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) for Solid Mechanics

the position is available immediately. applicants should have a recent master degree with a strong research record in solid mechanics: multi-scale/ multi-physics modeling of advanced materials, computational mechanics for materials, structures and energy systems in extreme environments. this is a four-year research contract position. in the netherlands, phd candidate will be employed as junior researcher: they receive a good salary that is linked to funded research projects. the phd students have full benefit including pension, medical insurance, etc. you may also be eligible for a very attractive tax reduction arrangement according to “30% facility for incoming employees” (see the link 30% facility for incoming employees). the ectm group has access to the world-class micro-fabrication facility: cleanroom for micro-manufacturing at the cutting edge of integrated circuits, mems and bioelectronics (see the link ectm). tu delft is ranked with a global position in the top 50 (see the link - Global University Ranking: Delft University of Technology ). please submit a letter describing your research interests, a cv, and 3 references to g.q.zhang@tudelft.nl.  wechat image_20200519110308.jpg  wechat image_20200519110316.jpg |
