This technology was successful for not only achievement from qualitative to quantitative, but also specification, less pollution, and excellent automation compared with conventional PCR, so that it has become crucial technical tool among molecular biology and other fields, as well as widely used as detection and diagnosis ways in genetic diseases, pathogens and tumor areas. The main principles, quantitative methods and recent applications in research areas of real-time quantitative PCR are summarized in the paper. |

This paper reviews the main principles, quantitative methods and current applications of real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. |
