Post Doc Macromolecular Chemistry (6 years) with Tenure Track Option 已有1人参与

In the field of macromolecular chemistry at the Institute of Applied Synthetic Chemistry of TU Wien, a postdoc position for 6 years will be available from September 2020 onwards. There is the option for habilitation and a subsequent tenure track position. Main topics: In recent decades, light-based processes have gained tremendous importance in macromolecular chemistry for modern polymer processing methods such as 3D printing or the emerging field of frontal polymerization. The focus is on the design and synthesis of new classes of initiators (radical, cationic, ...), monomers and network regulators to form thermoplast-like photopolymer including the following concepts: - Nanostructured materials through controlled phase separation using block copolymers. - Interpenetrating polymer networks. - Polymer backbones with narrow polydispersity through controlled chain transfer. - Liquid- and semi-crystalline photopolymers through controlled step-growth reactions. Conditions for admission: relevant doctoral studies in chemistry with specialization in macromolecular chemistry. Excellent knowledge, in the field of synthesis of low and high molecular weight organic compounds is required.
