在上传修改稿的时候，有这么一段话 In the cover letter accompanying your resubmission include each reviewer's comments followed by your responses, and indicate where you have changed the manuscript in response to each comment, by providing the page and line number of the change in the manuscript. This will help me to compare the reviewer comments with both the replies and the changes made in the manuscript. 难道是要把具体的修改内容和cover letter放在一起？ 可是系统在需要提交的文件中有Detailed Responses to Reviewers这一个啊 |

我认为也不一定，作为参考：我投HMT也是这样要求的，我只是在cover letter 中说了所有回答在我上传的response文件中被列出，给出文件名，然后说请专家审阅。 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |

去年投的一个top期刊，修改了两次我都是这样操作的，前几天刚录用。很多期刊你传完文件以后它会生成一个总的pdf包括coverletter和response还有正文，如果你把回复也放进coverletter里，到时就重复了 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |
