怎么理解杂志的意见啊？？

文章在技术审查被退回来了，好伤心啊。 下面是意见，语法错误倒是没有问题（我是说很多地方有语法错误的），可以慢慢修改。 可是怎么理解instances of badly worded/constructed sentences？？  还有throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal's desired standard，是不是很严重啊？ Comments: In its current state, the level of English throughout your manuscript does not meet the journal's desired standard. There are a number of grammatical errors and instances of badly worded/constructed sentences. Please check the manuscript and refine the language carefully.
