1.招生类型 博士招生 2.招收学校 美国斯蒂文斯理工 3.学制及专业 博士，土木工程建筑材料、材料科学、或化学工程方向 4.学校地点 美国新泽西州霍博肯市 5.提供的补助待遇 全额奖学金（学费+生活费） 6.导师(课题组)介绍 dr. weina meng (蒙维娜) is looking for a self-motivated ph.d. student in the area of materials science or chemical engineering, starting from fall semester 2020, spring semester 2021, or fall 2021. an ideal candidate would have a master's degree and research experience in advanced construction materials (cement-based or asphalt-based concrete) with multi-scale experimentation and/or modelling background. dr. meng is an assistant professor and the founding director of the advanced construction materials laboratory at stevens institute of technology. dr. meng’s research interests include understanding, development, multi-scale characterization and modeling, and structural applications of advanced construction composites to improve the resiliency, sustainability and climate adaptability of civil infrastructure. to date, dr. meng has published 25 peer-reviewed journal papers. dr. meng is guest editor of journal of applied science and reviewer of more than 10 journals. she serves as a committee member in aci 236 materials science, 239 ultra-high performance concrete, and 241 nanotechnology of concrete. stevens institute of technology is ranked 69 in the usa according to us news. the campus is located in hoboken, new jersey, facing manhattan. for international students, language score (toefl or ielts) is typically required: https://www.stevens.edu/admissio ... ocess/requirements. however, applicants affected by the closure of testing centers or those applicants who do not readily have ets or british council testing centers available to them can submit the det (duolingo english testing) in lieu of the toefl or ielts exam. a minimum det score of 100 is necessary for admission to stevens. 7.联系方式 请感兴趣的同学将自己的简历、本硕成绩单、硕士论文摘要和发表文章列表整理为一个pdf文档，发送给dr. meng： email: wmeng3@stevens.edu webpage: https://web.stevens.edu/facultyprofile/?id=2315 |
