track changes mode是什么意思？

昨晚收到编辑的decision letter， 要求我修改。但其中有句话是这么说的： You will be unable to make your revisions on the originally submitted version of the manuscript. Instead, revise your manuscript using a word processing program and save it on your computer. Please also highlight the changes to your manuscript within the document by using the track changes mode in MS Word or by using bold or colored text. 请问“using the track changes mode”是什么意思？是不是使用word里面的修订模式？把修订的痕迹都保留着？ 感谢大家给我多多指点。 |
