国内土博士到美国博后H1B如何退税

如题，本人中国大陆博士。2019年11月拿了H1B签证进入美国某大学做博士后。按照中美US-China Treaty(https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-trty/china.pdf)的第19条，如下： ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARTICLE 19 (Teachers, Professors and Researchers) An individual who is, or immediately before visiting a Contracting State was, a resident of the other Contracting State and is temporarily present in the first-mentioned Contracting State for the primary purpose of teaching, giving lectures or conducting research at a university, college, school or other accredited educational institution or scientific research institution in the first mentioned Contracting State shall be exempt from tax in the first mentioned Contracting State for a period not exceeding three years in the aggregate in respect of remuneration for such teaching, lectures or research. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 我应该是可以退联邦税的。但是报税软件没有相关退税选项。网上说该条款只适用于J1，不适用于H1B。也有部分人说H1B适用，但没有给出相关操作说明  。请万能的昆虫友支支招。有没有H1B成功退税的教教我怎么操作？ 感激不尽！ |
