关于 global change biology 的cover letter 问题？
请问是不是有一个固定的格式，我在虫子里看了，有不少模版，但是每一个都不一样呢，那究竟该怎么写，哪个虫子投过这个期刊.
我在网上看到了一个2007年 global change biology 的一个说明（如下），但是以前的是Email 投稿，现在是一个投稿系统投稿，里面没有什么说明，但是要求填一个cover letter ，按照什么格式呢？在投稿系统里没有看到cover letter 的写作要求，俺是投稿的新虫子，不少很懂呢，谢谢有经验的虫子给点意见。

Manuscript submission
Send your manuscript via email to: gcb@life.uiuc.edu. Your submission should consist of the following three attachments:
1. Cover letter – Prepare a cover letter addressed to the Chief Editor. This letter hould provide any information additional to that requested in the MS information form (see below), including aspects of the paper that you wish to highlight, suggestions for potential reviewers (please include their current email address), requests for the exclusion of specific reviewers on conflict grounds, etc. If the MS is a resubmission of a previous MS, the cover letter MUST include full details of all changes made, keyed to the comments of the reviewers and Subject Editor of the original MS. Give the file a sensible name (i.e., of the First Author is Smith, the file name SmithCoverLetter would be appropriate).
Attach the file to the email message.
