Calls for papers International Journal of Vehicle Design Special Issue on: "New Energy Vehicles' NVH and Lightweight and Control Technologies" Guest Editors: Prof. Shuming Chen, Jilin University, China Prof. Yu Zhou, Beihang University, China Prof. Xuefeng Zhu, Dalian University of Technology, China For the purpose of energy saving and environmental protection, the development of new energy vehicles is an internationally recognized trend. In order to further improve the power performance, economy and comfort of new energy vehicle, it is of great significance to optimize NVH performance, carry out lightweight design and high-performance control technology for new energy vehicle. Since the power source, transmission system and distribution of new energy vehicle are rather different from fuel vehicle, the new energy vehicle differs greatly from fuel vehicle in NVH source, lightweight design, and control methods. In recent years, numerous relevant scholars have studied the above-mentioned fields of new energy vehicles. However, it has not yet formed an in-depth and systematic understanding of it, and there is still a large space for improvement for the research of NVH, lightweight and control technologies for new energy vehicle. This special issue aims to bring together contributions from researchers working in the fields of new energy vehicle NVH, lightweight and control technologies, in order to outline the current state of the art and highlight the emerging trends and challenges in these fields, ranging from new energy vehicle’s NVH performance optimization, lightweight design method and control technology. Both high-quality original research and review papers are welcome. Subject Coverage Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following: Active noise, vibration control algorithms and methods NVH Analysis and control for electric vehicle, fuel cell vehicle and hybrid electric vehicle New energy vehicle lightweight design theory and methods New energy vehicle intelligent control technology Mathematical modelling of electric motor and power battery control systems Control algorithms for electric motors and power battery Materials and methods used to solve NVH and lightweight problems Intelligent driving techniques related to the vehicle dynamics Notes for Prospective Authors Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely re-written and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original paper). All papers are refereed through a peer review process. All papers must be submitted online. To submit a paper, please read our Submitting articles page. Important Dates Manuscripts due by: 31 March, 2020 Notification to authors (1st round): 30 June, 2020 First revised manuscript due by: 30 August, 2020 Notification to authors (2nd round): 31 October, 2020 Final versions due by: 31 December, 2020 |
