The enabling science in much of nanotechnology today is the science ofnanomaterials; indeed in the broadest sense, nanotechnology would notbe possible without nanomaterials. Nanomaterials: Mechanics andMechanisms seeks to provide an entrè into the field for mechanicalengineers, material scientists, chemical and biomedical engineers andphysicists.
