phd and postdoc positions on fiber-optic sensors at michigan state university the lab of ming han at michigan state university (https://egr.msu.edu/han) is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic phd students and postdocs with full financial support or competitive salaries to work on research projects related to fiber-optic sensors and sensor instrumentation. qualifications for prospective phd students: the applicant must have a bs or ms degree in electrical engineering, optics, physics, or related fields and a solid knowledge foundation in optics. previous research experience in optics and fiber optics are desired. skills in labview programing, circuit design, and embedded systems are also a plus. qualifications for postdoc researcher: qualified candidate should hold or expect at the time of hire, a phd degree in electrical engineering, optics, physics, or related fields. he or she should have demonstrated research capability in related fields and good academic writing skills. preference will be given to candidate with expertise in fiber-optic sensors and sensor instrumentation. please send your application to prof.
