For example, possible approaches could be in situ synthesis within carbon nanotubes or encapsulated synthesis in dendrimers...The performance of these chemically synthesized novel catalysts will be compared with conventional expansive Pd-based catalysts (typical reaction conditions: pressures of 50 to 100 bar, and temperatures of 200 to 300 ¡ãC) as well as physically chamber- deposited Cr-Ni or Ti-Ni catalysts.
