Postdoctoral positions in the field of drug delivery and therapeutic development

https://www.nature.com/naturecar ... -cities-umtc-716664 1-2 postdoctoral positions are immediately available in Dr. Hongbo Pang lab, Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Minnesota (Minneapolis). Pang lab harnesses interdisciplinary technologies to discover peptide-based targeting tools and novel biomarkers for human diseases, develop novel diagnosis and therapies, and explore novel cellular and physiological processes. Funded by federal and local grants, our ongoing projects include developing peptide-targeted delivery systems for nucleotide-based drugs, deciphering the cargo transport machineries in complex tissues such as solid tumors, and screening novel peptides and biomarkers for various human diseases and special cell types. We are looking for one or two?highly motivated?and?self-driven?individuals with related experience to join in our endeavors. The successful candidate will be also exposed to diverse research activities in our group, spanning from phage display screening, peptide-guided drug delivery, nanotechnology and immunotherapy. We are interested in applicants holding a PhD degree in a broad spectrum of scientific fields, such as molecular and cell biology, nanotechnology, bioengineering, drug delivery, cancer and inflammatory diseases, neuroscience and so on. The candidate should also have outstanding?interpersonal?and organizational skills, as well as?excellent communication and writing skills.
