[交流] 加拿大麦吉尔大学药物化学方向招聘药物化学/有机合成博士后

Position: Postdoctoral fellow in Medicinal Chemistry, under the supervision of Dr. Jian Hui Wu, Lady Davis Institute, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. This position is available immediately.

Project description:
Our laboratory is interested in drug discovery and has multiple ongoing projects: 1) Identification and optimization of novel inhibitors against cancer targets, such as Ran GTPASE for ovarian cancer or KRAS 12D mutant for pancreatic cancer and colorectal cancer; 2) Identification and optimization of chemical compounds to repair a broken Protein-Protein interaction (KEAP1/Nrf2) for lung cancer. Our laboratory includes three components: structure-based drug design, Medicinal chemistry and biological evaluations. This postdoctoral fellow is expected to optimize the initial active compounds by Medicinal chemistry and will also get involved in drug design. The candidate is expected to take up the position as soon as possible.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is interested in anticancer drug discovery, with strong background in Medicinal Chemistry. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, which was obtained in 2018 or later.
