美国Clarkson University招PhD-2020春/秋学期

Funded Ph.D. Positions in Power Systems Applications are currently being accepted for new funded Ph.D. students under the mentorship of Dr. Jianhua (Jessica) Zhang (https://webspace.clarkson.edu/~jzhang/). Starting from Spring 2020 or Fall 2020. Successful candidates will be expected to work on cyber-physical system, power system related projects. Requirements: • Master degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with the connection on communication network and power systems • Solid power and communication background • Good English communication and writing skills Preferred Qualifications: • M.S. degree in ECE • Power systems, smart grid or/and renewable energy-related research experience • Previous hands-on experiences on Hardware-in-the-loop projects, such as OPALRT/RTDS systems and communication network • Previous publication record on IEEE conferences • Industrial internship experiences Prospective students, please send your resume and a writing sample (papers, thesis, or technical reports) to jzhang@clarkson.edu, with “Perspective student 2020” in your email title.
