Joseph Halcomb III, M.D. Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Kentucky The University of Kentucky is one of the few universities in the U.S. having a major academic medical center with six health sciences colleges including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Sciences, and Public Health, and a full spectrum of other academic colleges, all within walking distance of each other. The school of pharmacy and Markey cancer center at the University of Kentucky are highly ranked in US. The department of Biomedical Engineering is a new program in the college of engineering, but expanded rapidly in recent years. There are tremendous opportunities to work closely with the medical center. | It is a golden chance to work under your supervision. Although I had relevant research experiment in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and your research areas of nanobiotechnology and cancer immunotherapy were very attractive to me, it is a pity that the IELTS score could not satisfy the requirement. |
