美国德州农工科帕斯克里斯蒂分校 wei xu 老师课题组招博后 联系方式：Wei.Xu@tamucc.edu Title: Postdoctoral Research Associate in Marine Biomedicine Salary: 47,000 – 50,000 depending on the experience Account # to draw salary from: NIH grant and startup Description: The candidate for this position will work in Dr. Wei Xu’s research group at the TAMU-Corpus Christi in the studies of an NIH-funded biomedical research program to understand the environmental impacts on the toxicities of marine pollutants to human health. Two types of experimental models will be used in this project: mouse skin diseases and primary cell cultures. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to be involved in the development and application of zebrafish xenograft models in biomedical research. Responsibilities: -Conduct research -Assist with grant proposals -Generate publications -Perform analysis of findings -Supervise laboratory operations -Mentor undergraduate and graduate students -Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: -Doctorate in biomedicine, molecular biology, biochemistry, animal science, or other closely related fields -Relevant publication record -Experience with animal husbandry and cell culture -Strong backgrounds in molecular and cellular biology Preferred Qualifications: -Recently graduated PhDs or obtained the PhD within last two years. -Research experience in toxicology and embryonic development is a plus. Are there any computer skills required to perform this position? If so, please list. Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel are required. Experience with using R, SAS, or Prism for statistical analyses is preferred. |
