waste management 期刊投稿求助 已有2人参与

请问各位大侠：waste management 期刊中图和表一起限制不能超过8个，但是我的文章中图有14副，表有7个。可删除的比较少，最多可以删除2个表，图片几乎不能删了。我投稿了之后（我在cover letter里说明了：There are 3591 words, 7 tables and 14 figures in this paper. Although the figures exceed the requirements of “Waste Management”, we think they are very important and they are the strong support of this paper.） 编辑的回复是：The number of figures + tables should be no more than 8. The less relevant ones should be placed in a separate supplementary information file and upload as e-component in the system.数字+表格的数量不应超过8个。不太相关的应放在单独的补充信息文件中，并作为电子组件上传到系统中。 但是我的图都是非常重要的图，而且还不能合并。这个怎么整呢？ 我看这个期刊上面有作者的文章其实也有图特别多的，我看到的一篇2018年的就有17个图，3个表。但是编辑对我的回复是should be no more than 8. 我应该怎么办？ |

没明白SI 是什么意思？ P.S. 此期刊投稿指南写了一句：Full length articles are limited to a combined total of 8 tables and figures. If the length of the manuscript, by either the word count or the number of tables and figures, exceeds the limit, then the authors must justify this in their cover letter. 应该是超了做个说明就可以呀，而且有文章17图的都可以。 |
