PhD Positions in ECE at Auburn University Dr. Xiaowen Gong in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University is seeking self-motivated PhD students to work in the areas of wireless networking and mobile computing with current focuses on edge computing, and data crowdsourcing, starting in Fall 2020. The students will be provided with full financial support. Dr. Gong has published more than 40 papers in top journals and conferences, including ToN, JSAC, TSP, TWC, INFOCOM, MobiHoc, WiOpt. Auburn University is one of two public flagship universities of the state of Alabama, USA. The graduate program of the ECE department is ranked No. 58 among all the schools in US by the US News in 2018. The ECE department has a strong wireless research program supported by the Wireless Engineering Research and Education Center (WEREC), which is an interdisciplinary center funded by an endowment, and is the focal point of the university's wireless activities. |
