The technology for the preparation of anthracitic formed coke using for the production of calcium carbide Abstract: Using the rich anthracite resources in Zhaotong,Yunnan province,to prepare the formed coke which be suitable for the production of calcium carbide .The influences of the amount of adhesives and the process conditions of carbonization on the quality of formed coke are studied. The relationship between the quality of formed coke and the amount of adhesives or the process conditions of carbonization were discussed by analysising the test data.Lastly, the amount of adhesives and the process conditions of carbonization were determined.
