Postdoctoral position available in Fei lab starting January 2020. A Postdoc position is available in the labotratory of Jia Fei in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry (MBB), Rutgers University – New Brunswick. The laboratory is seeking highly motivated young scientists interested in the broad area of eukaryotics gene regulation and chromatin biology. We offer an excellent research environment and dedicated mentoring, including the development and following of an Individual Development Plan, in an area with high quality of life and reasonable cost of living. For further information about Fei Lab visit our website https://fei-lab.weebly.com Candidate Qualifications: Potential candidates should hold (or about to obtain) a PhD, or within three years after degree experience, with expertise on regulation of gene expression, epigenetics, cellular and molecular biology and biochemistry. Experience in epigenomic assays (e.g. ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, Cut&Run, etc.) will be viewed favorably. Training opportunities for analyzing such genome-wide data sets are available. Interested applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, a cover letter including short description of research interests and first-authored publications, and name and contact information of at least two references to jfei2020@gmail.com.
