Man legt in einem 2-1-Kolben, der mit Rückflußkühler, wirksamem Rührer und je einem Einlauf für Benzol und Schwefeltrioxyd versehen ist, 800 g einer nach Beispiel 1 oder 2 gewonnenen, etwa 92%igen 1,3-Benzoldisulfonsäure vor. Dazu werden bei 135 bis 140° C abwechselnd in einem Gesamtzeitraum von 15 Min. 10 ccm (0,24 Mol) Schwefeltrioxyd, 10 ccm (0,11 Mol) Benzol und 2 g Natriumsulfat zugegeben. Nachdem insgesamt 330 ccm Schwefeltrioxyd, 330 ccm Benzol und 66 g Natriumsulfat zugesetzt worden sind, wird die weitere Zugabe abgebrochen. Die Konzentration der hierbei gewonnenen 1,3-Benzoldisulfonsäure beträgt etwa 88%. Die Ausbeute an 1,3-Benzoldisulfonsäure beträgt 88 bis 90% der Theorie, bezogen auf das eingesetzte Benzol. |
