For example, they can regulate genetic transcription and perform epigenetic modification by binding DNA to generate RNA¨CDNA triplex complex; they can bind to and regulate the stability, activity, location of proteins through affect their post-translational modification; they can also function as a ceRNA through sponging miRNAs. Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the world. About 90 million people die of malignant tumors. Accumulating evidence showed that lncRNAs played vital regulatory roles in the tumorigenesis and progression of cancers. This Special Issue aims to demonstrate the roles of lncRNAs in the tumorigenesis and the progression of cancers, reveal the prognostic and diagnostic importance for cancers. Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Cancer metabolism Cell apoptosis Cancer metastasis Resistance or sensitization to chemotherapy and radiotherapy Cell-cycle dysregulation Submit your paper.
