学校：McGill university, montreal, canada (times world university ranking ╟ no. 42) 院系：department of civil engineering 入学时间：2020 fall (申请截止期: jan/01/2020)。欢迎有意向的申请人将个人简历，语言成绩（toefl/ielts，无需gre成绩，但是有了更好），成绩单 （年级排名），以及发表论文发至刘锦霞老师邮箱: jinxia.liu@mcgill.ca，并同时在deadline之前提交申请材料。 对申请者的要求： 1. 教育背景：环境工程，环境化学，环境微生物，化工工程， 生物或生物化学等相关专业硕士或本科毕业学生，有很强化学或者是微生物背景，对环境保护，土壤和地下水修复，新型污染物有强烈兴趣。 2. two openings. ph.d. 1 will be involved in a us serdp funded project that will develop methodologies for characterization of novel pfas (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in environmental and biological samples. experience in using lc-ms/ms and developing analytical methods is essential. experience with high-resolution mass spectrometry, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and ion chromatography is desirable. ph.d. 2 will be involved in a us serdp funded project that will study microbial defluorination processes that can be developed into cost-effective remediation technology for soil and groundwater. experience in general microbiology, molecular genetics, and biochemistry is desirable. the students in dr. liu’s research group and will collaborate with a strong cohort of faculty, postdocs, and graduate students in environmental engineering, soil chemistry, analytical chemistry, and ecotoxicity disciplines from collaborators from us, canada and australia. 3. 有很强的自学和独立思维能力，英语能力较好，sci 发表论文者 （第一作者）优先考虑 4. 学校和城市简介：麦吉尔大学是加拿大历史最悠久的学府，世界排名20-42 之间，学校所在蒙特利尔市，是全球最好的留学城市之一，英语法语双语文化，生活便利，文化生活丰富。 https://www.timeshighereducation ... rsity#survey-answer https://www.bbc.com/news/business-38959018 |
